The following is a description of the William Wisner house from the Bellvale Rising Star:

"About the year 1819, William Wisner, father of our William H. Wisner, purchased of William and Job Noble about 600 acres of land surrounding his son's present home"

It is not certain if the old section of the home was already built, but in 1850 William Henry Wisner added the front portion of the home. William H. married Phoebe Houston and together had eight children..

Mrs. Albert Wisner(Judy) Buckbee II states that the original barn burned in 1899 and this one was built then to replace it.
