July 7-10 Continued

I decided to take a break from the painting and went to an antique auction while Karl stayed and played at the house. I was so surprized when I got back to see what he had done. He knocked out a whole wall to get a better idea of where the best view would be and where we were going to put the glass porch eventually. What a difference a day makes!!

We have decided that the whole mudroom addition will someday be taken off and will be replaced by a glassed in porch. This section was added on to the original house and was poorly constructed. We will save as many of the old beams as we can but some are to far gone. Meanwhile we will have an open air gazebo of sorts!
